Great! Do we need to download any app or software to use with the machines?

The machines work with Beam Studio (for PC and MAC) and Beam Go (for mobile application).  These are intuitive, easy to use software/app you can install on your computer / mobile phone, for FREE. In fact, you can download the software even before you get your machine.

What files do Beam Studio / Beam Go work with?

PNG, JPEG, SVG and DXF

Designers can benefit from Beam Studio’s seamless integration of Adobe Illustrator or import designs from AutoCAD, Inkscape, CorelDraw, and even Microsoft Word.

What makes beamo / Beambox so easy to use?

Wireless Integration

beamo and Beambox are USB, hard-wire, and mobile device supported. They come fully equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity for a seamless workflow anywhere you are.

Intuitive and Ready to Use

Control and monitor your machines at your fingertips with the touch panel. Make sure your design is perfectly aligned using the built-in camera to preview the work area.

What You See Is What You Get

The built-in camera allows you to preview your design and the work area to make sure everything is perfectly aligned.

Internal water-cooling

The closed-loop water cooling system circulates water throughout the machine, keeping the components at the proper temperature at all times.

Integrated Safety Features

If left opened, auto pause ensures the laser stops. Plus, you can stop production, with a single switch, at any time.

What makes beamo / Beambox different from the other cheaper machines in the market?

Due to their fully enclosed design, beamo and Beambox are identified as Class 1 laser cutters, defined below:

Laser classes 1 are lasers or laser products that do not emit any hazardous laser radiation. On the one side, the radiation is deemed safe and/or on the other side, there are no secondary hazards with laser class 1 laser products.

Are there any consumables?

For general use, the CO2 laser tube lasts 6 months to 1 year. Other parts that may need to be replaced are the focusing lens and the mirrors.

What warranties do you offer?

We provide a one year warranty for the machines, and a three month warranty for the laser tube.

What else do I need to get started?

  • laptop / desktop computer
  • beamo / Beambox
  • 3mm or 5mm wood or acrylic for cutting or engraving
  • open space to vent out the smoke (in case you don't have the space, you can direct the hose to Beam Air.
