CITRISTRIP Safer Paint & Varnish Stripping Gel

Directions for use:
1. Protect hands with chemical-resistant gloves and eyes with chemical splash goggles.
2. Shake well. Pour into a container and apply with a paint brush.
3. After 30 minutes (up to 24 hours), scrape a small test area to see if finish is ready for removal. For overnight stripping, after applying, cover application area with plastic until ready to scrape. Gently scrape in direction of wood grain with a plastic stripping tool. For stubborn areas, use an abrasive stripping pad dipped into CITRISTRIP. A toothbrush, toothpick or stripping brush will help remove old finish buried in recesses.
4. Use a paint stripper wash to loosen remaining residue and then mineral spirits to prepare surface for painting. Surface should be completely clean and dry before refinishing.
Helpful tips: Test in an inconspicuous area before use on any synthetic surface as strippers can damage these surfaces. Do not use on fiberglass, plastic or vinyl. Fr best results, use in temperatures between 65⁰ and 85⁰F and away from strong breeze and hot sun. Protect surrounding areas with a heavy plastic drop cloth.
Disposal: Allow liquid to evaporate and residue to dry outdoors. Then dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

3. Gel Application: Shake the Citristrip Stripping Gel thoroughly, then use a paintbrush for an even application.
4. Curing Process: Ensure an even coating on your stencil and allow it to cure for 45 minutes to an hour.
5. Stencil Removal: Once cured, delicately remove the stencil. Rinse it under running water, and gently brush away excess gel with a sponge.

CAUTION: CAUSES BURNS. Contains Benzyl Alcohol and surfactant. Do not mix with any other product. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not swallow. Contains a bittering agent to discourage accidental swallowing. If using indoors, open all windows and doors and maintain a cross ventilation of moving fresh air across the work area.
FIRST AID: IF SWALLOWED, call the poison control center, hospital emergency room or physician immediately for instructions. IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT, immediately flush with water, remove any contact lens, continue flushing with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention. IN CASE OF SKIN CONTACT, irritation may result. Immediately wash with soap and water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
